Overview:

Contract Type : Maternity Cover 

Workplace: Hybrid – 2 days in office per week

Hours: 35 hours per week

Reports to: Sr. Manager, Strategic Relationships 

 

The BHN partner channel provides a route to market for Blackhawk Network to resell its global thirdparty gift card content, open loop products and other solutions on an intermediary basis (B2B2B/B2B2C), primarily via API integrations and fullservice whitelabel storefronts. Operating within the B2B space and working with dozens of partners, it enables employee benefits providers, loyalty platforms, incentives organisations, neobanks and rewards companies to easily access and distribute digital and physical gift cards from thousands of leading global brands. The mission of the partner channel is to support B2B partners with products and technology that grow their business and power rewards, incentives and recognition programmes 

 

Role Purpose: 
Management and delivery of a portfolio of clients, responsible for building successful, strong client relationships which includes the ongoing support of the development of account management strategies.  

This role will coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of value-added rewards and incentives solutions that meet clients' needs and identify opportunities to grow accounts. 

Key performance indicators for this role include client satisfaction, retention of clients and expansion of the portfolio we supply. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of key accounts, with defined objectives for retention, expansion, and revenue growth, minimizing client churn.  
  • Contribute to account strategy that ensures retention and growth of clientidentifying opportunities for expansion and prepare and negotiate new tailored business proposals 
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally including C suite / executive level sponsors 
  • Maintain high operational standards by using CRM and internal systems to track performance, pipeline and growth opportunities. 
  • Develop and sustain a deep understanding of our business, products, competitors, and industry landscape, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor to our customers.

Qualifications:

  • Experienced in Account Management, with proven track record of reaching targets.  As a result, possess a strong ability to manage clients and stakeholders alike 
  • Impressive communication (written and verbal) and negotiation skills 
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, including ability resolve problems  
  • Strong experience in presenting and hosting client meetings  
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen 
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritise needs 
  • Thrives under pressure, whilst managing internal and external stakeholders  
  • Customer service orientated

 

Desirable Skills 

  • May possess subject matter expertise, ideally within the gift card and rewards industry 
  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM platform
