Reports to: VP, Corp. Development & Incentives Strategy

We’re looking for a strategic and analytically minded Director of Corporate Development to lead our M&A efforts and drive inorganic growth. This senior role blends financial acumen with strategic insight to identify, assess, and execute deals that support our long-term business goals.

As a key partner to senior leadership, you’ll manage the full lifecycle of complex transactions—from deal sourcing through post-merger integration. This role offers high visibility with C-suite executives and plays a critical part in shaping the company’s growth strategy and future direction.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth research and analysis of target market segments, building comprehensive assessments and maintaining a pipeline of potential acquisition targets.

• Corporate Strategy Support: Perform strategic “buy vs. build” evaluations and assess the performance of existing business units to inform broader corporate development decisions.

• Financial Modelling & Valuation: Build and maintain advanced financial models, valuations, and ad hoc analyses to support acquisition opportunities and strategic initiatives.

• M&A Transaction Management: Lead end-to-end deal execution, coordinating across legal, finance, and business teams, and managing due diligence and stakeholder communications.

• Post-Merger Integration: Drive integration planning and execution in partnership with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and capturing synergies.

• Value Creation & Monitoring: Track integration milestones, monitor performance, and identify opportunities to maximize transaction value and long-term business impact.

Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise: Demonstrated advanced financial modelling skills with expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, supported by strong experience in financial analysis and modelling. Strong quantitative abilities and meticulous attention to detail are essential.

• Professional Background: Experience in Corporate M&A or Investment Banking is strongly preferred, along with prior involvement in post-merger integration projects. A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business is required; an MBA is preferred.

• Communication & Influence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to build strategic relationships and influence change across an organization.

• Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Strong business judgment and the ability to distil complex analyses into clear, actionable insights and recommendations that support strategic decision-making.

• Mindset & Adaptability: Entrepreneurial and proactive, comfortable working in a lean, fast-paced environment. A quick learner who thrives in dynamic settings and embraces new challenges with confidence.

• Leadership & Collaboration: A collaborative leader who engages effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Combines technical expertise with strategic thinking and interpersonal skills to drive impactful transactions and partnerships.

Benefits:

  • Work-Life Balance: 25 days annual leave plus additional appreciation days, birthday time off, and volunteering leave.
  • Health & Well-being: Private medical insurance, employee assistance program, enhanced parental leave, and free eye tests.
  • Financial Rewards: Group income protection, pension scheme, and exclusive discounts with our bYond/one4all cards.
  • Flexibility & Engagement: Hybrid working, office group activities, and support for physical and mental health.
  • Recognition: Participate in Flyers, our leading recognition program with financial rewards.
