Overview:

The Senior Retail Partnerships Manager (TBC) plays a pivotal commercial role, responsible for maximising year-on-year revenue growth by unlocking brand partner opportunities across our network of distribution partners in the UK and Ireland. This individual will work closely with Distribution Partner Account Managers (DPAMs), internal cross-functional teams, and card partners (e.g. Google, Apple, Roblox) to ensure all retail marketing activity is strategically aligned, commercially driven, and consistently executed.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and deliver retail marketing revenue through Distribution Partners (DPs), achieving or exceeding annual revenue targets.
  • Partner with DP and CP Account Managers to drive a consistent, scalable, and effective marketing approach across all partner accounts in UK and ROI.
  • Create compelling and structured marketing proposals, and summit materials to increase partner engagement, conversion, and investment across the channel.
  • Collaborate with senior internal stakeholders and external card partners to secure and grow promotional budgets and marketing contributions.
  • Create and develop a dedicated reporting suite that aligns to the key commercial objectives to be able to effectively track and report on campaign performance, ensuring transparent return-on-investment (ROI) reporting to stakeholders and partners.
  • Drive improvements in campaign execution, performance reporting, and billing workflows.
  • Develop and maintain standardised dashboards and tools to assess marketing effectiveness at the DP and card partner level.
  • Working with the captured data to perform detailed analysis allowing insight and effective decision making to allow  continuous improvements in the commercial models underlaying the revenue targets.
  • Leverage category and market insights to shape innovative, high-impact retail marketing campaigns.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for marketing opportunities across the DP network, ensuring visibility and alignment.
  • Work with finance and operations teams to guarantee timely, accurate invoicing and financial reconciliation of partner-funded activity.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in retail marketing, commercial partnerships, or sales within a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
  • Strong commercial mindset with a demonstrable track record of delivering marketing-driven revenue growth.
  • Expertise in crafting and presenting persuasive marketing proposals, pitch decks, and investment packs.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; comfortable handling complex data and building reports.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across internal teams and external partners.
  • Strong background in building and nurturing senior-level partner relationships.
  • Confident working with senior stakeholders within both distribution and card partner organisations.
  • Data-driven and analytical, with the ability to measure performance, evaluate ROI, and derive actionable insights.
  • Results-oriented team player with exceptional organisational and time management skills.
  • Self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams to execute strategic projects.
  • Experience in managing direct reports or leading a small team.
  • Agile and decisive in prioritising projects that drive the greatest business impact.
  • Strong understanding of broader business objectives and how marketing initiatives contribute to them.
  • In-depth knowledge of the evolving retail landscape and partner needs.
  • Comfortable working with both digital and traditional brick-and-mortar retailers, understanding their unique business models.

 

Desirable Skills

  • Working knowledge of invoicing, billing, or finance processes related to partner-funded campaigns.
  • Experience thriving in matrixed, fast-changing environments where priorities can shift quickly.
