Overview:

Job Title: Content Account Manager

Contract: 7 Months, Opportunity for Indefinite 

Workplace: Hybrid – 3 days in office per week in our Amsterdam Office

Hours: 40 hours a week

Reports to: Manager, Strategic Relationships (Content Partner Acct Mgt)

 

Overview of Role

 

As a Content Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing strategic partnerships with approximately 30 to 35 key gift card partners. Your focus will be on unlocking the full potential of these brands within our content portfolio and across all Blackhawk distribution channels. This role combines commercial insight, relationship management, and strategic execution to drive partner satisfaction and revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

What You’ll Do

 

  • Client Growth & Relationship Management: Build and manage strategic partnerships with content partners across B2C and B2B markets to drive revenue and satisfaction.
  • Brand Expansion & Market Development: Identify and capitalise on growth opportunities within gift card programmes and across EMEA markets.
  • Performance Analysis & Strategic Insights: Analyse channel performance and market trends to deliver actionable insights and support brand growth.
  • Partner Communication & Engagement: Develop and execute communication plans, lead quarterly reviews, and coordinate European partner events.
  • Marketing Campaigns & Budget Oversight: Negotiate and manage joint marketing initiatives, ensuring timely execution and budget alignment.
  • Operational Excellence & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Oversee stock planning and resolve partner issues in collaboration with internal teams.

Qualifications:

What We’re Looking For

 

  • Communication & Influence: Confident and adaptable communicator with strong verbal and written skills - fluent in both English and Dutch
  • Relationship Building: Skilled in developing and maintaining long-term, professional partnerships with a focus on trust and collaboration.
  • Commercial & Analytical Acumen: Strong commercial insight with experience analysing P&Ls and sales reports to support strategic decisions.
  • Negotiation & Account Management: Proven negotiation skills and extensive experience managing high-level accounts across diverse stakeholders.
  • Proactive & Results-Driven: Independent, goal-oriented, and able to prioritise effectively in fast-paced environments.
  • Tech-Savvy & Sector Knowledge: Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience in the gift card or prepaid sector is a plus
