Overview:

BHN continues its strategic journey to become a Global network of branded payment solutions, a key area of this strategy is European expansion. With offices and Sales team in Germany, Netherlands, Ireland and the UK, BHN is ideally based to support these teams and territories with Product solutions that solve client problems, localalised to their country. 

This role is key to lead the strategic direction and execution of product development and launch efforts across multiple markets, ensuring products are adapted and successful in diverse global contexts. Germany is our priority, with learnings from this country roll out feeding into further EU country expansions.

 

A great opportunity to help shape our go to market in each country, partnering with our local Sales and Marketing teams.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Vision and Planning: 

  • Develop and articulate a product vision and strategy for EMEA expansion, aligning with overall business objectives. 
  • Identify and prioritize target markets for product launches, considering market needs, opportunities, and competitive landscapes. 
  • Develop and present business cases for new product initiatives and expansions. 

Product Development and Localization: 

  • Oversee the development of products that are adaptable and scalable for global markets. 
  • Ensure products are localized to meet the specific needs and preferences of different regions. 
  • Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and other teams to ensure successful product launches and adoption. 

Market Research and Analysis: 

  • Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, behaviors, and preferences in different regions. 
  • Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings. 
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation. 

Stakeholder Management: 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, cross-functional teams, and external partners. 
  • Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress effectively to all stakeholders. 

Performance Measurement and Optimization: 

  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product launches and expansions. 
  • Monitor product performance, analyze data, and identify areas for optimization. 
  • Continuously iterate on products based on customer feedback and market trends.  

Qualifications:

  • Leadership and communication: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.  
  • Experience in product management, product development, and/or product marketing. 
  • Technical understanding: A good understanding of technology and software development is beneficial.  
  • Experience in international markets and cross-cultural communication. 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. 
  • Business acumen: Understanding of business principles, market dynamics, and customer needs is necessary.  
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. 
  • Data analysis and problem-solving skills.
